Design of a New Railroad Station
White Plains, NY | New York State Dept. of Transportation
The New York State Department of Transportation in conjunction with the City of White Plains determined that a new station should be designed to replace the 100 year-old existing station located one block from the passenger platforms.
WSP SELLS studied several station locations and made recommendations. The location chosen for the new station was at platform level between the two tracks. Scheduling of this project was closely coincided with the design and construction of the adjacent Hamilton Avenue Bridges.
