Valhalla, NY | Kensico Cemetery

GIS was introduced to the cemetery as a way to manage the facility in an efficient manner. WSP SELLS created a 20 scale base map using aerial photography provided by WSP SELLS’ photogrammetrists. This data will be used to assist planners and engineers for future development projects. Additional GIS layers included the creation of a digital plot map which merged over 200 map sheets to form a seamless map showing all 37,000 plots within the cemetery.
